New and updated features
- Magnet WITNESS will now identify detected, but not yet supported, video file formats.
- If connected to the internet during the detection process, you can now submit a request for support directly within WITNESS for pending file formats and filesystems.
- Default output format settings are now updated to include only MP4 by default. This change will not override existing settings on upgrade. We recommend using MP4 as your default output format.
- Added the ability to delete a sub-clip.
- Added additional actions to the audit log.
- Added destination space checks when downloading cloud video, ingesting video files, and saving clips from the preview window.
- Added support for the GAEA filesystem (ATS190031) commonly found in Vivotek, Telus, Alarm.com, and other branded and unbranded makes and models.
- Added support for the RaySharp filesystem (ATS160058) commonly found in Cantonk, Zebronics, Stoic, and other branded and unbranded makes and models.
- Added the ability to conduct an inaccessible scan for the RaySharp filesystem. Users can recover clips that may have been deleted, expired, or partially overwritten and are no longer exportable by the DVR.
- Added the ability to export clips from the WFS filesystem in the native/proprietary format. This output format may contain audio recorded by the DVR.
Fixed issues
- Resolved an issue where date/time offsets were not applying to Gallery Preview.
- Resolved an issue where certain AVIs containing h.265 encoded frames were not playable. These clips will now play, however they may not play in all players. We recommend using MP4 output formats for the greatest compatibility.
- Resolved an issue that caused memory issues during export.
- Resolved an issue with XFS file systems that caused some scans to not return all clips.
- Resolved an issue that caused WITNESS to fail to start.
