Upgrade note: This update is being released to address an issue with OneDrive that was found in the 3.2.0.971 release.
New and updated
The user interface for Magnet OUTRIDER now provides a consistent experience, whether you're triaging a Windows or a macOS device.
Review the new Critical hits category to surface the most pertinent evidence found during a scan. Critical hits are based on keywords, CSAM, and files related to anti-forensics tools, dark web, P2P, and more.
For Windows scans, you can now enable Magnet OUTRIDER to scan the following priority directories first for every user listed on the device:
Google\Chrome\User Data
Microsoft\Edge\User Data
Mozilla\Firefox
Documents
Downloads
Desktop
Pictures
Videos
Scanning for all versions of Electrum Wallet File is now supported.
You can now scan for VPN applications previously supported in Magnet OUTRIDER 2.2, including additional support for Cisco Anyconnect.
You'll now receive a notification if Magnet OUTRIDER is running from a location that is either read-only or does not have read/write permission.
If you cancel a scan, Magnet OUTRIDER generates a partial report based on the evidence already scanned.
